St. Rose of Lima Catholic School impacts lives each day. Founded in 1959, St. Rose of Lima Catholic School serves families throughout Grant County by providing a unique academic setting where students have the opportunityto grow in a Christ-centered learning environment. We are dedicated to meeting our students where they are at while nurturing them to excel in their spiritual, social, emotional, and academic potential. We believe in the value of a strong community: in our classrooms, our school, and our neighborhoods. Through quarterly engagements events, families are able deepen their relationships with each other and with the community. Our facilities are also utilized for various neighborhood and city sponsored activities as well. St. Rose of Lima is sustained through answered prayers, parent volunteers, annual tuition, and, mostimportantly, fundraisers. No child or family is turned away because of an inability to pay their tuition. Families are required to volunteer to help raise funds to support our programs and are given multipleopportunities to participate in fundraisers throughout the year, including: our annual auction, wreath sales, candy sales, fun run, and golf tournament. Without these fundraisers, our program and the impact it has on families and our community would not be possible. November 6th, St. Rose will host its 38th annual auction fundraiser in our school gym. In order to mitigate the challenges of covid protocols, this will be a two-part Havana Nights themed event with an additional option to participate virtually. All proceeds and donations directly support families and our school program through scholarships for families in need, supplies, curricula, student intervention, as well as needed equipment, technology, and facility updates.
